My most recent cake (carrot cake with a cheesecake middle layer and cream cheese frosting) vs my first cake (carrot with cream cheese frosting) about a year ago.
My bf was telling me how much I improved and that I should post it on here to see what you guys thought. My most recent cake isn't the best, as I'm still very much learning but I made it for a friend's birthday and everyone loved it.

Do you feel like decorating is where you have shown the most progress? Any thoughts on how your cakes are different in terms of flavor and texture? Have you formed strong opinions about what should be in carrot cakes (in terms of like pinapple)?
