Manhattan Chinatown would be ideal for me, but that area's also dominated by Cantonese.

This is a Shandong food, so Flushing would probably be better. I've had them in Flushing, but fresh, not frozen. I'm looking for frozen ones.

Is there anything similar in Cantonese cuisine? I'm looking for a savory hot vegetarian snack.

I haven’t tried them but I’ve seen them on the menu at momentea in the frozen section.

Oh and I saw them frozen at a Chinese grocery store on ave U in Brooklyn so I’d say check the frozen sections of some of the larger Chinese supermarkets.

North Dumpling in Manhattan Chinatown sells chive pancakes (basically small jiucai hezi) non-frozen but cheap, so maybe you could buy a bunch of them and freeze them yourself? But I too would love to know if there is a place that sells them frozen in bulk like many places do for dumplings.

  4. Maybe you can try [Jojo Duck ](https://maps.app.goo.gl/AdMP6UBh1iJWBD258)on Walker St. in Chinatown?

From one of the pics on google maps, it seems like they have it but it’s fresh. They have a lot of frozen buns listed on sale on their menu, maybe you can ask if they sell those frozen.

There’s a place in Flushing that sells it but it’s fresh. It’s on the block of Pho bang on Kissena Blvd. Tried to look it up on Google maps but don’t see it. They sell buns/dumplings and definitely have it fresh.

Never heard of these but now I want them. In fact, I want MANY.

Let me know if you find what you’re after OP!!!
