Continuing my mission to make as many sandwiches as possible from The Encyclopedia of Sandwiches (by Susan Russo) #27 is the grilled portobello sandwich. The grilled mushroom makes for a tasty meat substitute! It was messy – lots of mushroom juices – but quite good.
