The congee is truly the best I’ve had in Manhattan

One of the best Cantonese places around. Their wonton noodle soup is excellent. Broth has a good level of seafood flavor. Wontons have good pieces of shrimp and taste of sesame oil. Great wide egg noodles. A go to for me.

Beef brisket and wontons are my go-tos there. I haven’t gone in a couple of years and was surprised at how packed the place was when I went recently.

Noodle village has been overtaken by tourists and basically non-Chinese every time I walk by. Wish it wasn’t as popular so we locals can keep it to ourselves but social media has taken it away from me.
How I miss the solid clay pot rice, oh well it’s a good restaurant so can’t gatekeep it forever.
