My husband and I attempted making colorful steamed Asian buns
The effects were… mixed. Tried creating hedgehogs, flowers, bows and frogs. At least they tasted delicious – served with seaweed butter and black salt. 😋

Well, if it tastes good then I’d say it was a success! It’s a great attempt! Even if some of them came out looking lopsided or just downright derpy, they were still edible, and that’s the specific end goal, the ‘looks aesthetically pleasing to the eye’ part is simply just the bonus points, which don’t really matter all that much in retrospect, and if they weren’t edible, or they tasted horrible, or if they even got ruined during the cooking process, then THAT is a true failure
