The grenade one is very gimmicky. Mostly vinegar and plain pepper mash.

I’ve had the hanks heat and it was nothing special but reminds me of an everything hot sauce kinda like franks!

Cannot remember the name right now, but I believe it is the grenade one on the far left, slightly cut out of the picture. I love using that one for a home made buffalo sauce. It’s great. Butter, franks, pepper, garlic, cayenne, some of that sauce. Add some mad dog ghost pepper sauce if I want a real kick out of it

okay, but overpriced.

I like the Hank honey habenero and exit 17.

Shock and awe is actually REALLY tasty sauce , but it goes bad relatively quickly.
Legeto
Tasty but the handle is way too sharp

I recommend them both. The General has a gimmicky bottle but the 2 I’ve tried (Shock and Awe, Grunt Green) have been quite good. I’ve had three of the Hank’s (Cilanktro, Camouflage, Hank’s Heat) and they were all tasty, but very mild. The Hank’s brand is kind of known for being low heat but good flavor

Hank sauce is really good!

Hank sauces are very good. The heat level is only about medium on most of their varieties, however.

The General ones are absolute ass. Extract with only heat and no flavor IMO. Got one as a gift, threw it out within a couple weeks.

The best hot sauce for going through airport security

The grenade brand has some awesome sauces.

I was skeptical of the gimmicky bottle but the made with 86% peppers caught my eye. As someone who hates extract sauces I decided to give it a shot. I got the Shock and Awe and it is delicious!!! Definitely not crazy hot but the flavor is amazing.

Shock and awe was really good imo. Relatively not unique but a solid all rounder tobasco alternative.

I tried one of the red ones. it was dank!

I have the shock and I like it – got it as a gift

Very standard, wasn’t noteworthy. Bought it for the bottle. Veteran owned though.

I will say on the continuum of hot sauce packaging, I prefer twee hypermasculine silliness with an interesting bottle design like this over a generic bottle with a name like 666 SUPERSATAN’S BUTTHOLE BREAKER 9,000,000 SHU!!!!

Had a friend buy one of these at a store in Chicago. After the went to Portillo’s and had it sitting on the table. They hadn’t noticed that the restaurant had cleared out until SWAT walked in about it. Said he was scared shitless and SWAT was not happy.

I haven’t tried these, but…
If I see a painting with a huge, ornate frame around it, I assume that someone knew that the painting wasn’t good by itself. So, seeing these, I think, “Those are some nice bottles! I guess you’re supposed to buy them and pour the sauce down the toilet so that you’ll have a nice empty bottle you can put leftover Ikea screws in.”

This sub is getting ridiculous, people always bitching about the ingredients of their hot sauce but a brand comes around that’s 86% peppers and people are still bitching… anyone who says The General sauces are mostly vinegar and salt is a fucking idiot who can’t read. Yeah the bottle is gimmicky but damn people, at least show some respect for a brand that makes sauces with 86% peppers! Except, obviously, for their salt and syrup.
