In 2004, Australian man Mark Murray created the hamdog, a hamburger-hot dog hybrid. But should he have? Is the hamdog a representation of man’s gluttony and greed, or is it a representation of innovation? In this video, I dive into the history of the hamdog as well as my opinions on its potential future.

  1. That bun shape is chaos, what do I do? Eat the ends sticking out first so it's all hotdog at the start, or get left with all hotdog at the end after my hamburger has pushed out onto the floor? xD

  2. Well, that was a surprisingly good/chaotic story. Part of me thinks that Lamborghini is AI generated. That 1-2 dollar evaluation was… an idea for sure, must've been looking for experience/exposure or something. 🤔

I feel like this is a gimmick more than decent food. Why not either cut up the hot dogs and put them in the ground beef, or coat the hot dogs in the beef? (With some egg to keep things together) That way you don't need a proprietary cooking mold, although that's an excuse for more profits. Is that where the Lambo money came from? Regardless, food's food, and it's kinda funny they put two of the cheapest meats together and made it overpriced. 🤷‍♂

Also, I have a bias against meat since I eat little of it, so grain of salt me or whatever. The vegan versions of it have such great/terrible potential too: like the SoyMush, or PeaRoom, BeetPo, ect. Now that's food that will get people's attention!

  3. im high af rn and cant stop laughing at the shape of the thing followed by the thickest aussie accent youve ever heard, this is just so goofy lmao it looks like a ufo

  4. In Wells, Maine there's a donut shop named Cogdon's. During the summer they host food trucks at night, called Congdon's After Dark. One of the regular trucks, Elizabeth's Kitchen or something, has a hamburger hotdog combo. It's amazing. You get that high nitrate crunch of crispy hot dog skin, along with the meaty juiciness of a well cooked burger.

  5. i have never seen a video of urs before but i am now a huge fan of both you and the hamdog. thank u for ur service youtube user sirsugarmeat
