Classic Alsace producer.

Nose is unreal, tropical fruits, lychee, hot honey tea, and a little nuttiness lurking underneath. It’s got the classical aromas you expect here.

The palate is insane. It’s so lush and full with a crazy body, off dry, and borderline creamy. The lychee, mango, honey, melon and star fruit is soo rich with an amazing fruit weight. I’ve never had this grape with this much texture and weight. This absolutely must be served chilled or you would be easily overwhelmed.

My additional thoughts: old world Gewurtztraminer is such a unique white wine experience, and leaning into this style for the grape characteristics make sense, but new world interpretations are maybe even better; fresher, more acidity, less body. Both have a place, as long as you are aware of what you are getting.
