Over the last few uses my grill has been shooting flames out the front and back of the center burner. Anyone know what’s causing this issue? The grill is only 6 months old and I keep it pretty clean. The flames are definitely from the burner itself and not any flare up material.
The grates and heat displacer (or whatever those are called) are all aligned properly.
Any theories?

Burner tubes may be rusted through. Take it apart.
If it’s newer and not rusted through you may have something clogging/blocking the air flow. Break it down and blow out the tubes.
Just replaced my burner tubes for $30 this summer, easy job
Remove the grate. Remove the deflector bars. Then show us the burners and turn them on. It looks to me that the air hole is blocked and causing yellow flames. The air hole is at the front. Look under the control panel.
If burner tubes do need to be replaced, check if your unit is under warranty. Burners are covered 10 years.
