What’s the material of the pan? Normal steel needs to have a patina, there is nothing awful about it. Just let it do it’s thing and only clean with hot water.

Wow! Cooked to perfection. I love me some soft, silky, caramelized onions, but these look like they still have a beautiful bite to them. Good job.
hell yeah, this sub has way too many caramelizing posts. glad to see some onions that are cooked but still a little crunchy.
