I am thinking of building an outdoor grilling area, but I don't know if it's safe to enclose the weber Genesis. I know the kettle is a definite no, but not sure of the other ones.

Enclosing is ok. I’d be more worried about backing it up against the house without protection.

This voids the Weber warranty and would also upset your insurance company if there was ever a claim.
That said this is done alllllllll the time with grills, so you’re likely fine.
