Can you guys have a look at the calories for each of these items and see if they look right? I’ve found that MyFitnessPal can be off sometimes.
But basically, I’ve had breakfast and lunch today (already logged dinner because that’s what I am planning to eat) but I am literally not hungry at all which makes me think I may be tracking wrong. Although I weigh everything very thoroughly. Like to the gram.
It’s almost 8pm and I don’t feel like having dinner, but that I would have only had a little more than 1000 calories for the day…
I’m an overweight guy and have been tracking calories for a little over a week now

Definitely get more calories than that but if you are full from what you are eating then there’s ways to increase calories without increasing volume of your food. You can drink calories through things like protein shakes or add in extra calories through high calorie foods like nuts, peanut butter, or oil
they look right to me! you’re eating mostly just protein and fiber, which can definitely dull hunger. definitely low fat, consider adding more fats and carbs. how’s your energy level throughout this day?
also.. do you enjoy the food you’re eating? could be affecting your appetite
This is almost exactly what i eat when im restricting low. It keeps me full. Proof you dont have to starve to restrict calories. Protein and fiber keep me full for a long time and it curbs my past binging habits. Also this is not too low. This is a great amount of food
What is an all greens cake?
It’s only been a little more than a week. If you’re obese/overweight, and you’re eating quality whole foods, this could very well be sustainable *for now*.
Don’t be surprised to see that change if/when you start to lose weight. Be prepared, so that you don’t succumb to binge eating. Eat a little bit more, and maybe adjust your deficit if need be.
I’ve been changing my diet over the last several months and suddenly the last week I’ve needed much less volume wise. I don’t know what the difference is.
