Oh man, I moved and prepped a fuckload of garlic for a yellow dal, set it in the pressure cooker and figured “I’m in a new area not really knowing people, prime scenario for a relapse” so I head off to check out a local AA meeting, sus the vibe even though AA isn’t really my thing.
Get there, pretty small group, I think 10 people all up. I walk up and the old blokes start coming up to say hi and welcome, and tried to shake my hand. I have to just go “uhhh I just processed like 40 cloves of garlic, you don’t want to shake my hand right now”.
The dal fucking slapped though.
