Looking into getting one of the Pit Boss vertical pellet smokers from Lowes https://www.lowes.com/pd/Pit-Boss-Pro-Series-4-Series-Vertical-Smoker/5013310445
Primarily looking at the vertical because of footprint on a small patio. Primarily going to be doing brisket/chuck roast/chicken (we do not eat pork).
Will this size (grates are 20" by 13") fit a brisket OK? Or too small?

I don’t have a pitboss vertical but I do have the cc xxl and my shelfs are 21 3/4″ wide my last two packers where 20″ and 21″ long before trimming the 21″ I ended up putting the on at a angle avoid the sides the 20 fit fine. The briskets where 15 and 18 lbs again before trimming.
Following. I just bought a vertical. It does not look like it will hold a full brisket. I watched a video where a guy took a brick, wrapped it in foil, and put it under the brisket so it sort of curled it and it fit. Then, as it cooked and shrank, he removed the brick. Seems a little weird, but it worked for him. 10:10 mark of this video.
