I'm snowed in at Lake of the Ozarks in Mo. I'm making today, ty much
Sunscreen in cookie form. More for others, not for me. 😛
Can you use semi sweet chocolate chips?
I usually omit the eggs and sugar, and use sweetened condensed milk instead. Maybe I will give these a try down the line.
I wish I liked coconut.
So hungry now! Ha ha.
I love macaroons!😍! Thanks for this wonderful recipe!
I was surprised no beater needed to whip the egg whites… this recipe really is simple!
This looks SO GOOD! 🤤 Can’t wait to bake some.❤❤❤
We’re snowed in but I will definitely make these asap. We love coconut macaroons and these look top shelf! 👏😁

YUMMY, Julia! Keith is such an amazingly talented, and creative chef, too.
I love these kind of simple cookie recipes!
Yum!
Might be too much coconut for me, but they look yummy
Can you use one whole egg instead of two egg whites? Also was thar mini chips?
Why yes, this recipe segment did end rather abruptly. The final 45 seconds:
Keith: It's absolutely perfect.
Julia: Mm-hmm
K: Again, three tablespoons of sugar is all you need to get that really nice chewy texture
J: Mmm
K: But is also really moist
J: Mm-Hmm. Keith, these are brilliant. Thank you!
K: You're welcome!
J: If you want to make these amazing macaroons, start by whisking the egg whites and sugar together until foamy. Stir in sweetened coconut, almonds and chocolate chips and let that batter chill for 30 minutes before baking.
J: From America's Test Kitchen: Coconut Macaroons with Chocolate Chips and Almonds. You can get this recipe plus all the recipes from this season along with our product reviews and select episodes on our… *
J: Only makes 12, huh? <laughs>
K: You could double it if you want to!
J: Oooh!
*Why yes, this sentence did end abruptly. Leaving out an innocuous, everyday tech-y word (and to what it was referring) that was accepted in almost every other post I've made like this was the only to keep this comment from being deleted over and over and over and over. 🙄🤦♂
