The Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees, Lackawanna and Wyoming Chapter, held its Christmas dinner Dec. 12 at Colarusso’s in Dickson City. The main theme was Toys for Tots, and the Marines collected unwrapped gifts for children for the Christmas season from members. Guest speaker was Catherine Richmond-Cullen, Ed.D., retired assistant professor of education from the University of Scranton. Richmond-Cullen, an educational consultant and the president of neuroLEARN LLC, discussed the importance of seniors keeping their minds and bodies active.
