I think that’s innovation because it is combining good flavours with a good taste

Would try that 100%

How could it be bad?

It’s as innovating as adding a fried egg or onion ring to a burger. Not at all an abomination. I would absolutely eat this.
JohnBrambleberry
Enthusiastic support for this.

If someone could come to my town a little north of Houston, TX and cook me one I could give a definitive answer.
DefNotMrCameron
I’d fuck that up

Chile relleno is allowed on anything.

I would say the word abomination for things I would not eat. I would definitely eat this. Innovation it is!

Could be seen as overkill, but all those flavours 100% work, I’ve had a similar burger and it was amazing
TommyTwoTxmes
I make chile relleno burritos with my leftover chile rellenos. This has to be good.

Innovation. This looks delicious.

This exists on a different spectrum, sounds tasty for sure, but not really that inovative by today’s burger standards. Certainly nowhere near abomination.
An abomination would be like a banana walnut bun, sweet baby rays bbq goat spleen burger.
JKevill
Looks really good. It isn’t some stupid amount of cheese or anything. “Southwestern” is already a pretty good flavor palate for a burger

This sub is really, really simple. If it’s a burger and it looks tasty, we upvote. Don’t mind gatekeepers. This looks fuckin scrumptious, my dude
johnnyribcage
I would destroy that. Might need to recreate it at home here this weekend. Sounds like a lot of work – chili rellenos aren’t exactly something I can whip up in a jiff. I’m sure there are plenty of experts and abuelas out there that can, but it would take all afternoon for me. Might be worth the trouble though.

I’m here for that!! Ho early, I’d likely enjoy that. I’d also like to try that with a chorizo patty smash!!

Looks delicious

Green Chile on a burger is a New Mexico staple. It’s my favorite kind of burger but I gotta admit I’ve never tried a relleno burger. Looks amazing!

How does it taste is the question.
