I love dans, this is a silly complaint, but I always feel like they give me too much lettuce tomato onion pickle etc… like I want them on there but the ratio is off. Your picture looks perfect. Does anyone else get that?

Ever since discovering Dan’s a couple years ago while visiting a friend, I love eating there whenever I’m in town. Outside of fast food chains like Whataburger or Jack in the Box, they’re my favorite place to get a burger. My favorite place is N.Lamar, partially because my friend moved to that area

Dan’s, Sap’s, Casa Garcia, Tarka, and Tinos are always on my list when I visit my mom in Austin. Nothing amazing or life changing but good solid food every damn time.
I live in bumfuck nowhere so anything not taco bell, McDonald’s, or attached to a gas station is pretty great. We did get a whataburger a year or two ago which definitely made everyone feel fancy.

I did a burger crawl where I tried em all: top notch, dans, hilberts, short stop. And it was so surprising how Dan’s absolutely blew them out of the water. (Top notch did have some good smokey action going tho)

The only Dan’s I’ve ever eaten at is in Buda, which IMO was not impressive. I do see Dan’s come up often as being really good though. I live north of Austin now and I definitely want to give Dan’s another try after seeing this, it has been years since I’ve been! Looks good!
