After getting sick recently, I venture out to try to restock my freezer, fridge and pantry with all of the essentials we will need for the cold cold month of January. Watch this Massive Monthly Grocery Haul where I spend an entire day shopping at the stores Aldi, Wegmans, and Walmart and then bring it all home and show you the haul. It is massive! I do these monthly hauls to try to get everything we need all at once. I also share with you along the way meal ideas, meal prepping tips, and recipes for meals I am going to be making are in the description below. I always show my receipts at the end so that you can see how much money I spend and what my grocery budget is. Join me every month to see what our homeschool family of 7 likes to eat every time, what our favorite items are and what new ideas we are trying! Thank you for watching!

Only buying deli meat when it's on sale also buying a lot of things store brand. Trying to plan meals around what's in the sales flyers and compare store prices to get lowest price. Times are tough you gotta do what you can.
$5 45
Costco and Sam's have little hams and little turkey breasts that are like 3.99 -4.49 lb. We buy it and slice it ourselves.
My favourite laundry soap is Persil but I'm cheap so I'll buy any of them that are on sale.
Eggs are crazy expensive here in Oregon. They are $7.42 per dozen for the cheapest regular large eggs at Walmart.
Thankfully our chickens are still laying. We got the white Leghorn breed this time and we have a heat lamp over their water at night to help keep it from freezing.
There's a big concern about chickens developing bird flu and spreading it to humans right now. So there's a lot of chickens being slaughters — and thus a shortage of eggs. I think there were like 90,000 chickens slaughtered in Ohio several weeks ago at one of the huge chicken farms because they found bird flu then. I'm wondering how much the price of eggs will go down after the crisis is over though — I'm betting not by much.
Hi from Mississippi.
Can’t afford deli meats, making most from scratch, even bolonga is more expensive eggs for 18, I paid over 5$
Eggs are $4 and some change here. I’ve got a rain check for $2.99 a dozen I’ve been hoarding though 🤣
Eggs here in NC are $4.53 dozen – limit 2 at Aldi – other stores are mostly $4.29. The 60 ct eggs at our walmart (5.5 dozen box) today was $21.00 for the box. The Eggland's Best Eggs are about $5 something per dozen
Sucralose is worse for you than regular sugar
Yes there is a shortage of eggs. Millions of chickens have been culled. My chickens just started laying after there molt. I raise quail so always have eggs all winter. Chicken and Beef prices are gonna start soaring. If you have already stock up on canned meats and fish. I just made homemade butternut squash ravioli's and potato/cheddar perogies for my Daughters birthday. I serve them all with garlic/ butter and parmesan. Next time you go to Aldi's check out the Knock your socks off sprouted bread, it's super delicious, soft and has all very clean ingredients in it. Easier to digest because it's made with sprouted grains.
Egg prices are so high due to culling for bird flu.
I quit buying deli meat because it’s way too expensive. Eggs were $4.53 a dozen this week.
