Which item was the best among all of these?
I have heard there’s little turnover with their menu but this restaurant is an absolute treasure. Not only is the food top notch but their service and hospitality is world class.
The first time I booked them they had to cancel my reservation last minute due to a kitchen issue. I couldn’t re-book until months later when I flew back to NYC for work. They remembered that and really rolled out the red carpet for me.
Their langoustine is one of the best I’ve had even rivaling langoustines I’ve had at Michelin restaurants in Europe.
I also feel they’re better than any of the 3* restaurants in the city.
I ate at Aska when it was a pop up in an art studio in Williamsburg years ago. It was great. Frederick came out to ask us about the meal and ended up sitting and chatting with us for half an hour. Super cool and talented guy.
Aska is fantastic, ambience on point, the courses don’t miss and the service is impeccable. The somm specifically was fantastic with recommendations. Best Michelin we’ve been to in NY.
