Good score, so to speak. I have his pizza book. Wish it had come spiral bound!

  4. Seeing more books offered as spiral bound. I’m a big fan of this trend!

I have this done to my knitting books, if they’re softcover. It absolutely helps them to lay flat during use.

Take them to a print shop or the print counter of an office supply store. Ask them to cut off the spine and put a spiral on. A few years ago, this typically ran about $5 per book, but I’m sure prices have gone up.

The down side is that you have to pull the book off the shelf to see which one it is, since there’s no spine anymore. And all the spirals look the same.

Great book, now I’m sorry I purchased mine before the spiral option.
