So, somehow my Nespresso can not close lid. It can move freely between position 1 to 2, but stuck at position 2 when trying to move to 3. I checked online and looks like there is no ready answer for it.
When I was switching this handle, I had a sense it should be a pure mechanical issue, like something stuck. So I opened it and successfully take the specific part out (red circle in pic2), and I have no idea how I took it out. I put it back and tried to see how it works, but failed to get it out again.

Anyone has an idea how to take it out? Or how to fix the problem?

I used to have to hold it down while I turned it.

  2. I had that same issue happen to one of my Nexts. There was no fix. I called support and complained about it until they allowed me to talk to a supervisor.

The supervisor asked me to do a video share so I could show them how much force I was applying…and still not having any luck turning the head.

They caved at that point and sent me a replacement refurbished Next…which started leaking about 2 months later. Sad state of the quality of those machines.

Call support and push to get a replacement. That’s my best advice. My machine was out of warranty.
