I use them to arrange unlit charcoal and grab my cool grates before I light the fire. Same par for a year. My hand stay clean.

Same pair* I’ve used all year. Keeps my hand clean of grease from grates and charcoal free. Only use pre fire obviously. I use leather gloves after the fire is lit.

  2. Hands stay so much cleaner too. Welding gloves are about $10 and allow you to move plate setters if needed.

Get some gloves that are fireproof/heat resistance. Same idea, but now you can handle hot stuff too.

  4. While I appreciate your suggestion, if you get fireplace gloves next time you can also use them to rearrange burning coals and remove the conveggtor while in use if, for example, one is doing a reverse sear.

100%. And if you buy anything from Kick Ash Basket, they include a pair of their own charcoal gloves, which I love to use.
