Salt and pepper, let it come up in temp on the counter for an hour and a half. Smoked on my kettle at ~225 degrees till 130, then seared in cast iron. One of the more expensive pieces I’ve attempted, and it came out great!

One of the best I’ve seen. Could easily serve this up at a fine dining establishment.

I got a box of Snake River steaks for my 70th birthday , I had never heard of them before that. Now I’m seeing posts about people cooking them all the time it seems. I’ve only cooked one so far and it was amazing. I looked it up and the box priced over $400. On their website your individual steak was about $90. So the box seemed like a good deal. It came with 2 NY strips :(I ate one) 2 ribeyes, a 1lb tenderloin AND a 3lb cowboy steak.
Congratulations on yours, it looked delicious!

This is probably the best cooked steak I’ve seen on here in a long time. Good work!
