OLD TOWN, Maine (WABI) – Those at the Old Town American Legion Post will be treating the public to a Christmas dinner.
They say it’s a way to give back to the community that supports them.
It will be held Christmas Day at their post which is located at 20 North Water Street.
The dinner runs from 2 to 8 P.M. and is completely free of charge.
“We’re making a pork roast, we’re making turkey I believe, and ham. And all the fixings, there will be pies,” stated Llew Buxton, American Legion Officer.
“It benefits the entire community. You don’t have to be military; you can be anybody. Come right in and get a free dinner,” said Sons of the American Legion Officer, Gavin Anderson.
This is the post’s third year of hosting the dinner.
