So I made a post a while back about my reapers being attacked by something. A few people thought it was just sun damage (which was part of the problem, thanks guys), but I'm still noticing all my peppers fall off early, have grubs in them, or rot for no apparent reason. Wondering if this guy is the culprit. You can see it literally holding some sort of grub in one of the photos.
Anyone know what this little guy is?

Spiders are friends they eat what eats your food. I’ve been trying to convince spiders to move into my grow shed, housing doesn’t seem to be a problem for the spiders in my neck of the woods.
Milkweed Assassin bug, that could definitely be your issue. Watch out for their sting though, it’s terrible
It’s not a spider, y’all! It only has 6 legs. Legs 1 and 2 are just its long feelers.
That’s definitely some kind of assassin bug. They have some radically different morphologies from type to type and some look more or less like box elder beetles and others look like alien war giraffes. He’s there to eat the pest that’s messing up your crop.
Assassin bugs are your friends. Leave him be. Leaf footed bug nymphs look very similar, but they’re smaller and congregate in large numbers, where assassins are typically solitary. Destroy the leaf footed nymphs with prejudice, leave the assassins be.
