    The worst soup I’ve ever been served in a restaurant was at the Cipriani in Grand Central. The Veg had freezer burn taste and the broth was not broth but some version of dirty dishwasher. Inedible. I thought it was such joke by the staff. The only time I have ever sent something back and asked it to be taken off the bill. I will never go back to any Cirpriani location.

    Cipriani. I went to Venice years ago and had a Bellini at the Ciprani there! That is where the drink is said to originate from!

    While we’re all here, what is the correct pronunciation of Cipriani? I said Sip-riani for years, but was then told it’s Chip-riani.
