If creamy pasta wasn’t enough on its own, let’s add caramelised mushrooms, shallots and herbs. This pasta is bathed in a rich and velvety garlic mushroom sauce that is quick and easy to make.

I made mine with Baby Bella (baby portobello) mushrooms and rigatoni but you can substitute with any mushroom or pasta that you prefer.

Baby Bella’s are also known as Cremini or Swiss Brown mushrooms.

Creamy Mushroom Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups Sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms
1/4 cup Shallots
1-2 Garlic Cloves, sliced
1/4 cup White Wine, dry (Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, or Chardonnay)
2 cups Heavy Cream
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Oregano
1/4 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 cup Butter
1/4 cup Pasta Water
1/4 cup Olive Oil
8 ounces Dry Rigatoni
