    Just need the steak to be a little less seasoned and salty and it is a damn good meal. I like TR more than most high end steakhouses.

    Try the buffalo boneless wings. Their sauce is so diff than what buffalo normally tastes like. Top tier sauce.

    I haven’t been there in forever but I used to love it! So much cheaper than overpriced higher end steak houses. Yum!

    Something I notice is that only one comment is actually about the steak, the rest are snobs complaining that it isn’t a masterpiece made by god himself, and people pointing out how stupid the snobs are.

    I actually prefer their steak to Ruth Chris. Everything else Ruth Chris does is better but not the steak

    We were visiting the US once for a college campus tour and stopped to eat at Texas Roadhouse. They didn’t have bread for us so they brought out an onion blossom. Kids loved it. It only got better from there, it was actually one of the highlights of the trip.

    A few months back, one opened up in my city, and I ended up going there for a belated birthday dinner to try it out. The steak was pretty damn good for the price!

    I had mac and cheese as a side and….. Holy shit I was shockingly disappointed lol. Absolutely the worst mac and cheese I’ve ever had lol, no competition. I’m hoping it was just because they were beyond slammed with a 2+ hours wait for a table 😅

    TX Roadhouse is a great bang for buck. I’ve eaten at premium joints, and TXRH is good at an affordable price.

    I really enjoy Texas Roadhouse. Meets that intersecting point of value, comfort, quality, and kid friendly.

    The locations near me are so so fucking busy though.

    Also they do family meals which used to meal prep for 3-4 days and the value for that is quite good.

    Texas Roadhouse is fantastic for the value. I’ve had pretentious steakhouse steaks that were double the price and half as good. I keep two bottles of their steak sauce on hand at home for burgers, steaks, and really anything I feel like dipping. For like four bucks a bottle, it’s a steal given the price of some steak sauces right now.
