I picked up a couple of those covered cast iron loaf pans for some sourdoughs and they do not disappoint!

    I made the loafs smaller than usual at 750 grams. next time I will do 850 grams as there was still a bit of room in there.

    Also I crushed up some ice into dust and put some on the top of the loaves when they first when in the oven since there is no room on the sides for ice cubes

    I have the enameled version of this pan and put my 1000 gram loaf in it. I love it.

    Did you preheat the loaf pan and drop it in? Or proof in loaf pan? Loaves look awesome
