Currently mid-cook and I’m getting a loud screeching sound coming from my pellet grill. Sounds like it is going off when the auger is engaged. Help?

Sounds like the auger motor is having issues any chance you can scoop out the pellets ( doesn’t have to be empty just low and you are responsible for your own fingers) in the hopper enough to see if the auger turns? If not you can take the lower cover off and look up to see if the shaft turns ( again if it running there is going to be a two fans and the electric connections to beware of).
