MARQUETTE COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC)—Community Dinners Feeding Marquette County is once again providing dinner for those in need.

This will mark the 18th annual Free Community Christmas Dinner. As always, the dinner will have dine-in, takeout, and delivery options. It will include traditional Christmas dinner main courses like turkey and ham, along with sides and a dessert.

The event coordinator Dawn Lambert says these meals help a lot of people, so they ask that you make a reservation in order to eat.

“If I don’t have a rough number then it’s really hard to guess how much food to cook. You know, Thanksgiving we did like over 1,500 meals, close to 1,600, and we were stretching it really far,” Lambert said.

The dinner is from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ishpeming Elks Lodge on Christmas Day.

Please call Dawn at 906-451-4951 by Dec. 23 to reserve your meal.

To request delivery in Gwinn, Sawyer, Little Lake and Skandia, call 906-360-7069.
