That is half a pound of butter. In the US and Canada a 'stick' is a quarter pound. Good recipe, a bit like Duck Confit with chicken.

Roel: I love your channel; but the labor-intensive, not to mention cost, aspect of your recent recipes seems to be increasing substantially. How about a few posts that are something we can accomplish on a weekday, at a reasonable cost, and we have maybe 30-45 minutes to get a dinner ready? You know …. for the working folks with kids who have time and money pressures on being "pitmasters'??

They changed the recipe of that chilli oil. It's no where near as good as it used to be. Make your own, don't buy it.
