Chicken Tandoori Recipe

Ingredients:
• Chicken – 1 kg
• Yogurt (curd) – 70 gms
• Lemon – 1 (large)
• Kashmiri chili powder or paste (for color)
• Chili powder – 2 tbsp
• Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) – 1 tbsp
• Garam masala – 1 tbsp
• Butter – 5 gms
• Salt – as needed

Procedure:

Step 1:
• Take a bowl and add the chicken pieces.
• Squeeze the juice of one large lemon over the chicken and add salt.
• Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
• This step make chicken tender and juicy

Step 2:
• In another bowl, add fresh yogurt, chili powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, Kashmiri chili powder or paste, ginger-garlic paste, and butter Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves).
• Mix everything well to form a smooth marinade.

Step 3:
• Add the prepared marinade to the chicken and mix thoroughly to coat all the pieces evenly.
• Cover the bowl and refrigerate the marinated chicken for 3 hours.

Step 4:
• Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
• Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer and cook for 25 minutes.
• After 15 minutes, brush the chicken with butter and continue cooking until done.

Step 5:
• Serve the delicious Chicken Tandoori hot with mint chutney or your favorite dip.
