Is this a real Weber? I’ve never seen that plastic handle on the ash catcher

I found this grill on FB marketplace and this is the only picture. It looks like the Premium Kettle, but I’m new to Webers and I can’t find any pictures online of Webers having this black plastic handle on the ash catcher.

EDIT: I just realized it has two legs instead of the one. It was just posted for free and I got excited. Guess it was too good to be true.

  2. Is it 22″? If so, it seems to have the shallow lid from the 22″ Smokey Joe Premium, but the handle there is all wrong too. Also, the thermometer isn’t standard with the SJP

It is not a weber. Weber Kettle only have 3 legs if they aren’t on a cart/table.

    It’s a Slow n Sear kettle, I have one and it’s great!

  5. It looks like SNS Grills version of a Weber kettle but I don’t see the typical SNS branding on the side handle. SNS Grills are a great brand and if it’s free I’d go scoop it up.

Fake. All the handles are wrong, and it’s got 4 legs.

  7. No, it’s not fake, it’s just not a Weber at all.

Looks like a generic store brand type grill. Its PROBABLY fine to use, but don’t pay used webber prices for it. That’s a $20 used grill.

Honestly, you can probably hold out a bit since its winter, genuine webbers pop up for next to nothing all the time.

The handle on the ash can is a good sign, but the clearest sign is that it has four legs. Webbers have three legs.

No, handles are different than the Weber brand.

Had that same one…it’s OK (or so I thought until I could afford a real Webber) do not pay more than $50 though and that handle falls off btw. So do the wheels.

This has no legs to stand on to claim being a weber because it has 4 legs legs instead of trademark 3 legs
