Mark I used wire coat hangers. They rusted very badly. My wife found the stainless steel zip ties. They’re flat, so the lid can completely close and keep everything pushed underwater.

This is cool! I have some silicon pot holders that I just throw in there and they either sink, or get pushed down by the lid on my bucket, but this seems heavier duty!
