Made my own birthday cake this year! :)


Note: I am a pretty good baker, not a good cake decorator (yet.)

Based on Preppy Kitchen’s Devils Food Cake recipe. I modified it slightly by adding chopped chocolate to the batter, with a whipped chocolate ganache to the center layer, and a regular buttercream frosting. It was my first time making my own cake and I was so excited that it turned out okay.
