    Go in to this app believing the old adage “opinions are like assholes, everyone has one” and you’ll be wayyy ahead of the game. Think that people are indifferent or harsh and you’ll setting yourself up for being pleasantly surprised by those who aren’t.

    I love Reddit because it has a subreddit (or 5) for every one of my interests, with many members willing to give opinions and advice. Just know like the other commenter said, some are gold some are trash 🙂

    Reddit is divided into a bunch of different forums called “subreddits”. Anything that starts with r/ is a subreddit anything that starts with u/ is a user (person behind a computer or phone) this particular subreddit, r/bbq is all about bbqing and smoked foods!

    Some people on Reddit will comment mean things. Dont take it personal, people can be immature. Cowboy hat and church tells me you may be right leaning politically. Any posts you make about politics supporting the right wing will likely have key board warriors commenting hateful things about your beliefs. Once again, dont take it personal.

    Outside of politics people are usually pretty nice and civil. Majority of people on Reddit are young, and have little actual life experience.
