This was an interesting meal. I got the tasting menu and one supplement (the truffle pasta). I was celebrating and the staff was amazing at making my meal super special!!! I am so grateful to the staff for really making my day extra wonderful! That being said, I was very confused about the second half of the meal. The first 4 courses aligned with the first section of the menu but then I got one course of lamb, one dessert, and that was it. Neither course was on the menu I was given and up until I got those courses did I realize it wasn’t a 12 course tasting menu (perhaps my bad). It felt like it ended super abruptly- I was surprised dessert showed up and then even more surprised to not get an ending dessert course like chocolates etc. Everything that I ate was delicious and solid but perhaps I should have asked more about what the tasting menu entailed. I would have been pretty disappointed had I not gotten the supplement! I also didn’t love that I didn’t get a menu at the end- considering they added two random dishes to my meal it’s hard to remember all the components without an accurate menu.
