Get the Arbols, guajillos and some chuck roast and make some birria, best cooking decision I ever made

Huh. I was headed there Monday anyway, so I guess I’ll be picking up something extra.
First, I will do the dumb “what if I just chew on a little piece” thing that I’m required to do first with any new pepper. Then I’ll use what it tasted like to figure out how to cook with it.
After that, I’m probably going to chop the reaper pieces up finely and add it to tomato sauce with some spices for a salsa. I figure it’ll draw water out of the sauce and rehydrate while I slow cook it. What it goes in there with will depend on how it tasted.

Finely cut (be careful!) and try some lo mein. Or add into ramen or a pho recipe.
