2lbs Brisket, 1lb Pork Ribs, beans and potato salad. Semi-annual trip with my siblings and their kids. Absolutely priceless experience every time. Staff is always super friendly.
We all live locally and arrived at 7am, second in line.
Guy that was first in line arrived from Fort Worth @ 445am!
Doors open at 11am. We done and leaving by noon.

Aw, port guy could’ve slept in and got there at 6:45 am! It all looks so good, but also pretty rich for my moth-eaten wallet. I guess if a group is all chipping in then it works out fine. Especially if you’ve been there 14 times and still love it! Cheers! 😋🤌👍
I was lucky enough to enjoy a catered dinner with Franklins – no cost and no line (ok, maybe my cousin and my aunt ahead of me once – it was for a rehearsal dinner in Austin), all you could eat Ribs and Brisket.
I probably ate $70 worth of food easy. Good thing I had yet to give up weed back then.
