Review of the three I’ve gone through this far:
– Elijah’s extreme regret reserve:
Heat: 7/10
Flavor: 6/10
Tastes mostly like really bitter pepper seeds. Can’t detect much other flavor. Worst tasting of these 3 sauces.
– Dave’s Ghost Pepper:
Heat: 7.5/10
Flavor: 7.5/10
A little bit more heat than the other two sauces, but not by much. Tastes a bit less bitter than Extreme regret with some fruity flavors.
– Karma Ashes 2 Ashes:
Heat: 7/10
Flavor: 9/10
Heat is on-par with extreme regret. I can’t imagine a super-hot sauce tasting much better than Ashes 2 Ashes. The seven-pot flavor is awesome, and they add some sugar which really offsets the bitter flavor of super hots.

The Rapture is very good but nowhere near as hot as EXRR.

So i looked ip ashes 2 ashes and they dont use heat units, just their own scale in what looks like stars out of however many format. The mfg says:
“Our sauces range from mild to “I’ve Made a Huge Mistake” hot! We label each bottle with a heat level, so you can pick the perfect spice for your taste buds”
Which i mean, its cool that its small batch and all and i assume so pepper heavy that it varies by crop, but this means you literally cant review this sauce by heat unless youre trying to put your own rating on *their* rating. It also makes it kind of difficult to order it and get what you want. Which is odd for a small brand that almost certainly depends on online sales. Tough to wanna fork over 15-20 bucks for a premium hot sauce that diesnt advertise it’s real shu and who’s vendors may not reliably list or provide the same product you want based on the varied mfg heat guide, which apparently can be difficult bottle to bottle
