  1. What did you think of the overall experience? How did it compare to your expectations?

  2. Bucket list meal accomplished. A few notes:

**TLDR:** casual fine dining, intimate vibe, extremely well executed French (safe, no ground breaking dishes), great wine pairing, no wonder they’ve had their stars so long

**General:** what a pleasant night, I think everything was a 9/10 in terms of dishes. Absolutely no misses, but only two dishes were absolute wows (the salad and lobster dish). They accommodated my wife’s gluten and dairy allergy flawlessly. The oysters and pearls is a bit of an overrated dish (particularly when compared to the squid and caviar dish at Hermanos Torres in BCN).

**Wine:** the drive your-own wine pairing and somm were incredible. We provided a budget, let the somm know what we typically gravitate towards and they did a nice job. I would say our pours were extremely generous and we ended up finding two wines we would absolutely buy again. I wish more places did pairings like this.

**Gifts:** sometimes take-home gifts feel like afterthoughts and are not special. The takehome chocolates were mindblowing here though. They also made my wife a fig jam that was incredible. Well done.

Nice experience and I’m grateful for the team. (If only Tock could root out the instant bookings and probably bots so people can get reservations more easily)

  3. Menu looks fun but I stand by my hatred for putting everything in quotes.

  4. Been twice in 2024. It meets the hype! Haters hate. But truly this place is the goat. Research all the great chefs in the three star places in the US allot of them spent some time there!

Thanks for sharing. I personally think Oysters and Pearls deserves all the hype it gets, but I feel you

This is my ultimate bucket list experience and has been since I was like 12 years old! Thanks for posting, it looked divine!

50/50. The ingredients sound amazing. The food looks delicious, but the plating looks boring or tired. I’d obviously still jump at the opportunity if given half a chance.
