As a baker, tell her to walk away for like an hour or overnight and then come back and look at them! Sometimes you’re genuinely just looking at something for too long lol these are adorable

I posted this because I had this idea that I would either get tips for her to improve, or lots of positive feedback, to be like “See?? Everyone online thinks its awesome” But as someone in the comments pointed out, the battle is in your head, against yourself, we’re too critical of our own work.

The blue shade is slightly wrong for the rainbows, but that may be because the rainbow colors are a bit dark and muted. If they were brighter colors, the blue would look better.
Blue is not an easy color to work with. It’s human nature to find it unappetizing because in nature, almost nothing blue is edible. So it’s a challenging color.
The frosting work looks terrific.

These are gorgeous! Only thing I might suggest for next time is making the rainbow pieces longer like the one in the background on the left. I made similar ones for St Paddy’s

I think the only constructive criticism I’d make is to use airheads brand sour strips which have more/thinner color bands that are ordered more like a traditional rainbow. What was in her control I think she did v well
