I fell down a TikTok rabbit hole and made my own starter a couple weeks ago. It’s active and thriving and so I baked my first loaves today!

    Great crumb! Are you happy with the crust? Going darker will improve overall flavor but I know some people prefer a lighter crust. Either way great job! I usually do 450F cover on for 30min and cover off for 20 and that gives me a nice dark crust.
