I like both, so it's hard to decide! I'm practicing to make these for Valentine's. These are cherry almond linzer cookies. With ground almonds in the dough, cherry preserve filling and a vanilla/almond glaze. If anyone has any tips for a getting bubbles out of the glaze it would be appreciated!

Crinkle on the outside, smooth for the inner heart
Why not have both!
I think crinkle cuts look better and are more forgiving! Both look delicious though!

I like the crinkles! They look great!
I’m a weirdo but I am in agreement crinkle on the outside smooth for the top
Crinkle! Much more Valentine!!!
Crinkle cute definitely! I recently made linzer cookies for the first time, bought crinkle cut cookie cutters just for them!
They are both so cute in their own way! It’s a nice variation to have a mix of both.
They look yummy! Can you drag a toothpick over the icing before it sets?

Crinkle!
The scalloped edge looks much nicer
I like the crinkle but I’d definitely eat either lol
The icing is the part that is wrong for Linzer. Gotta be powdered sugar imo.
The crinkle cut for sure! Lovely job. I’d like to try making these.

These are my fav they all look yummy but I like the crinkled outside it’s pretty
Crinkle looks great but I believe the inside heart should be smooth traditionally.
Make them round then they’re jammy dodgers.
Lovely either way but I like the crinkle on the outside.
I love the crinkles
Smooth inside and out
Oh my my this looks heavenly delicious 😋
Not sure maybe send me a dozen of each and I’ll a conduct in-depth review? By which I mean eat them ALL they look beautiful 😍
Crinkles are so adorable. I love the idea of crinkle outside and straight inside. Inspired to try this! Is there a light glaze on these too? So yummy looking!
