Parents picked this up in Hungary for me. We tried it on a toothpick, it was pretty potent. Just threw a couple dashes in an extra blackened ranch and threw it on a sandwich.

Sinus' clear. Very clear. Delicious.

Anyone know how potent this stuff is supposed to be?
Should I be in the not so spicy sub?

I see five chilis out of five on it.

Looks like “Spirit of Attila” by Chili Hungária Manufaktúra. Never had it, but that’s what it reads. I don’t speak a word of the Hungarian language, but I would assume that roughly translates to “Hungarian Chili Manufacturer.”

I’ve had this and really enjoyed it. It’s not a super hot but pretty tasty all the same.

I wonder if your parents bought it from the Market Place in Hungary as that’s the only place I saw it a few years ago.

If I remember correctly it was a local chili sauce winner.

(Did she also get you the chili oil that’s really popular and sold in more places. I think it’s a paprika oil, has some spice to it but no where near hot).

Bought a bottle of this years ago in Budapest. It was in a shop that sells hot sauce. The guy there was super excited to get a customer so enthusiastic and he added a bunch of free bottles on my large order. Lufthansa didn’t know what to make of my bag on the way back. Sauce was great.
