I would say you are on track. These look great. My only advise and it could be the lighting on the first cookies, but maybe add more icing to the background layer. Some of the ones on white look a bit thin on the icing. I had this issue when I first started and didn’t realize it until they dried.

Thicker flood layer will help it look more smooth. I think your consistency overall is still a little off but better on the second and third images vs the first.

Your icing is so glossy! What recipe do you use?

Ok so , suggestion that worked for me Look at your cookies with a critical eye , what do you want to improve ? Smoothness ? Continuity of lines ? Texture ? Define what you need to focus on , then get a print out in plain white paper of shapes, put them in a one of those transparent plastic sheet protectors and use icing to simulate decoration, you can reuse it by just scraping off , and it gives you a great baseline to develop better muscle memory , eventually you get a feel for how the icing is doing if it’s to wet or dry, how certain coloring affect it , your cookies look Great ! Once you feel you are at a point where you want to start on base cookies then do it and it does feel different on a cookie but you have developed smoother drop techniques and you will feel More confident
