I have conquered the disk shape and tried my hand at hearts today. The results would give a cardiologist nightmares. I’d love tips on how to improve while I eat these delicious deformities. Maybe I need to use a smaller piping tip?

Cut your piping bag tip smaller than you would for normal, round macarons for precision. I like to pipe in a single V-shape- starting at the top right, applying pressure to round out the first hump, then slightly easing off as I move to the bottom point of the V, and moving back up to the left of the V, increasing pressure to round off the second hump.
Check out my profile if you need proof that I know what I’m doing😅

I would slighly undermix so they dont spread too much.
