I popped into a local Mexican import shop today and browsed through their bajillion hot sauces. This one caught my eye, a cheese-y hot sauce?! It cost somewhere about $4.
Their website rates this a 2/4 spice level which is laughable. I’d call it 0.5/4 at most. Very mild. But it’s delicious, I’m dipping some pizza into it. Strong jalapeño flavor with a nacho-queso-fake-cheese-ness to it and I dig it.
I’ll definitely explore other flavors from this brand in the future.

Their guacasalsa made with Serrano’s is okay. Not super hot, but decent flavor. Maybe a 2.5 out of 5 on heat. Serrano’s aren’t super hot to me though.

I just grabbed this one from them at a Mexican import shop over in the city. Haven’t tried it yet, but I’m eager!
